Lana's tip of the week

Hey it’s Lana again, and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week – stack bracelets. This fashion means to be fun, fashionable, and playful with bracelets that you love stacked up your arms.
In the first two photos you can see both of my stacked arms full of bright playful colors (photography by Nicole Sage Photography). In the last photo you can see my model friend Libby modeling stack bracelets on one arm (photography by Backroads photography). You can find bracelets at many different stores. I got a lot of mine at Target and garage sales.

Go find some fun playful bracelets and show me your stacked arms. Play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

Lana's Tip of the week

Hey it’s Lana again and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week – NEON!!!! Neon is totally an “in” fashion right now. I love neon colors because it is all about being bright, colorful, and playful. For this tip I am modeling from head to toe lots of bright playful Neon. Hair piece in rainbow bright colors from Macy’s, bright blue eyeshadow from Bare Minerals (color called “Azure”), bright pink lipstick by Mac (color called “Amplifed”), hot pink earrings from Target, braided cord necklace with neon orange peace sign from Target, neon lime green crop top (part of one of my dance costumes), bright turquoise tank top from Justice, rainbow bright colored slap band watch from Target, jelly bracelets from a garage sale, and a knee high socks from Target with a mix of neon color.

If you don’t feel like bright neon colors from head to toe, try wearing one item with neon colors to add a playful color splash to your outfit. You can do tie die neon nail polish (this one I got at Justice), or if you are a gymnast or dancer GK has great bar shorts that are black with a splash of neon at the waist. Or how about just clip a fun playful accessory on your back or belt loop (clip shown in picture was bought at Target).

I would love to see you in your playful splash of neon color and don’t forget to play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

The best thing about summer is new fashions, fun with friends and ice cream or popsicles !!

I love all the stripes I’ve been seeing in my favorite stores.

The Haley stripped sweater for cool nights.

The April long sleeve shirt looks great with rolled up sleeves and a cute pair of shorts.

And the Michelle short sleeve v neck tee works with everything!

Check out Abercrombiekids.com for the big sale!

Or visit Target for some great deals on cute stripped fashions.  They have Tees, dresses and swimsuits!

Lana's Tip of the week

Hey, it’s Lana again and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week – The DIY ribbon hair tie. These work great for adding sparkle and playful fun to your hair ties. I use them to add bling to the sock buns I wear for gymnastics. The first two photos show me with my first DIY ribbon hair tie made to match my blue and black leopard print leo that I wear with white and black zebra print bar shorts.

Here’s how you make them.  They are really simple. You need a hair tie and two different colored ribbons (I like one of the ribbons to have sparkles). Make sure one of the ribbons is skinnier than the other. Cut the fatter ribbon into pieces about 7 or 8 inches long and cut the ends diagonal. Cut the skinny ribbon a little shorter than the fatter one. Put the skinnier ribbon on top of the fatter one and fold in half. You will see a loop when you do this. Fold this in half over the edge of the hair tie and pull the ends through the loop until it knots on the tie. Keep doing this until there is ribbon all around the tie.  The last photo shows the new hair tie my mom and I are making to match my new team warm up leo that is black with lime green.

Make a DIY ribbon hair sparkle and send me some photos. Don’t forget to play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

Destinee's Tip of the Week

Hi I'm back Miss Destinee with Fashion Inspiration by Destinee! All I can say is the battle is on between these two "Oh So Fabulous" scrappy tutu's by Lady Bug Tutu's. These scrappy tutu's are so much fun to wear while also looking fabulous! The scrappy design just makes you want to swirl and twirl and strike a pose! Me and my sister just love animal print.

I chose the Pink scrappy tutu and my sister Kenadee chose the yellow one. And guess what... we look "Oh So Fabulous"! This look should inspire every mommy to want to check out Ladybug Tutus to make their little girl get that fabulous look! Lana's Tip of the Week

Hey this is Lana again and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week – Polka dots and stripes. I think of polka dots as playful and I think of stripes as unique. Together you get a playful uniqueness of you. Right now stripes and polka dots are popular. I saw many cloths at Target, Abercrombie & Fitch, and other mall stores that had either stripes, polka dots, or both. For boys I saw stripped shirts. For girls, I saw dress, skirts, pants, and shirts with both stripes and polka dots together or by themselves. The photo I am sharing today is me with a fun playful black and white polka dot baby doll shirt with a black and white stripped bow that I got at Nordstrom Rack.

I would love to see some photos of readers in polka dots and stripes. Play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

Lana's Tip of The Week

Hey this is Lana and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week -- Gymboree biker shorts. Biker shorts are great for playing outside. They look great with t-shirts but I especially like them to wear under my dresses or skirts so I can still do my handsprings and cartwheels while wearing a dress.

The biker shorts from Gymboree are great because they come in lots of colors. You can choose ones with one color or ones that have prints on them. Gymboree biker shorts also last a very long time through lots of washes. They cost about $12.95 at Gymboree but my mom likes to get them on sale whenever they have sales. The photo I’m sharing today is me with a new dress I just recently modeled for Trendy Little Creations. I got to wear my favorite orange biker shorts from Gymboree with the dress.

Get some biker shorts at Gymboree and send me some photos in your favorite biker shorts. Don’t forget to play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

Destinee's Tip of The Week

Hello I am Destinee signing in for my blog Fashion Inspirations by Destinee. This week me and my sister Kenadee will inspire you on how to make a pulled back hairstyle look “Oh so fabulous” by just adding simple accessories! My mom always pulls are hair back in a bun because it is quick and easy to do. But one thing about us girls we always like to stand out from the rest and by doing that all you need is a “Oh so fabulous” flower to add to any simple hairstyle! You can put the flower to the side or just wear it in the back. After your beautiful hairstyle is complete inspire that look by adding some “bling, bling” to your ears and around your neck! I chose the pink beaded earring and necklace set while my sister Kenadee chose the pink crystal sterling silver necklace. The beautiful jewelry that we are wearing came from the “Oh so fabulous” boutique Butterfly Kizzezs.

Make sure to check back next week to find out what I can inspire you with! Fashion Inspirations By Destinee

Lana's Tip of The Week

Hey! This is Lana again. My playful fashion tip of the week is animal print. I love this fashion because it is really funky and cool; especially when you mix more than one animal print together. My favorite to mix is cheetah and zebra print. Animal print is popular at lots of places. I’ve added animal print to my cloths using ribbon bought at fabric and craft stores. You can also get animal print bows from boutiques. I have three photos for you. In the first picture I am wearing a fancy cheetah print bow with bubble gum pink skinny ribbons I got from The Marleigh Bowtique. In the next photo, I am wearing jeans that I decorated with cheetah print bows and zebra print letters that spell out my name and ruffles at the bottom. In the last photo I am wearing my favorite way to wear my flip flops – that is two different ones at the same time. One is white and black cheetah print on the bottom and the other is pink and black cheetah print on the strap.

Send me a picture of you wearing your favorite animal print. Also I would love to have some photos of you wearing your favorite fashions. I just might write about your fashion and you in my next blog. Play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana

The glasses will not only make you look smarter, trendier too and who doesn't LOVE Hello Kitty? I love how the Big Hoop earrings in Neon can match with other neon colors and even school supplies like highlighters and post-its! Glasses are 12.50 Earrings are 10.50

Lana's Tip of the Week

Hey there this is Lana and here’s my playful fashion tip of the week: The inverted pony tail. These pony tails are fun, fancy, and fashionable! I love this hair style because it is a little fancier than a regular pony tail. It is a great fashion for play because it holds up really well. I did gymnastics with an inverted pony tail and it kept my hair out of my face while I did front tucks, back tucks, front hand springs and back handsprings. It even held up when I played in the foam pit during open gym.

To do an inverted pony you do a regular pony tail and then flip the hair inside out. Check on You Tube and you will see how to do one. I have photos of two different inverted pony tails. One is a medium high one in the back and I dressed it up with a gold bow from Bella’s Beautique. The other is a low one to the side. I dressed this one up with a white with red polka dot bow from Oooh'la'la Hairbows BY RARA

Try the inverted pony tail and let me know how you dressed yours up. Play hard this week and look great – Bye! Lana
